Fern Monster

In my post last week about Monstering-up our front porch, you may have noticed 4 blue circles drawn on the wood;

Since Hubby had the saw out, and since I was painting anyways, I had him cut 4 eyeballs for my ferns.

You're saying "What the?!"
Hang on - you'll see... 

Paint;

 Coat hangers;

Straighten the hangers and then fold them in half.

If you fold it back and forth, it will crack without the use of wire snips.

Glue on to the back of the eyeballs.

Insert into your ferns:

This is Fern and below is Fernando;

Come on - admit it - too cute right?!

As a side note, I'm pretty sure you could do this with ping pong balls and markers...

But only if you wanted to save time and effort.
