Do's and Don'ts...

I think that a blog should teach you something.

It should provide you with ideas, inspiration and how to's.

No one wants to read about the daily grind - you want to learn something right?

So far on this blog, I have focused on the "Do's".

I do however, think that there's learning potential in the "Don'ts" as well...
So here are a few that I'd like to share:

  • DON'T leave your ficus tree outside to 'enjoy the sunshine'
  • DON'T clean your air conditioner with a pressure washer:
Those are "Oh Shit!" squiggles as I tried to get the pressure washer to stop.

  • DON'T use your tools as weights when you are epoxy-gluing something:
These were a beast to break apart!

  • Don't spray paint in your basement;
Similarly, DON'T epoxy anything in your basement - those shiny, water-looking drops are permanent.  (Whoops)

  • DON'T teach your kids how to use Pinterest and then let them have a board on your account:

Chloë has me following every bunny board on the system.

  • This one's very important; DON'T wear your race shirt to pick up your kids from school:
You'd be surprised how many grade 1's and 2's know what this is an acronym for.

YIKES!

  • Finally, DON'T buy Hallowe'en candy before Hallowe'en.

'Nuff said.

Birth control pills should really be made for men. It makes more sense to unload a gun than to shoot a bulletproof vest.
Have a great one!
