A Better Bistro set

You may have noticed that some of my blog photos recently have been without snow in the background.
That's because the whole Fan-damily headed to the Sunny South to spend some quality time with Nana and Papa.

(and perhaps to catch a few rays.)

My Mom and I were surfing through magazines one day and she came across this photo from Grandinroad:
Grandinroad
Not my style, but cute.

She remembered that she had a small bistro set in her garage that wasn't being used that could possibly use a makeover.

I don't think I waited 5 minutes before searching out her set to see what we could do.

It looks like bamboo, but it's really metal.

I removed the cushions for a good wash-down, and wiped down all of the metal on the set itself.

My Mom chose Rustoleum's "Seaside" in gloss (3 cans) and I was off!

A couple of coats of paint and some time to cure and check this out:

THIS is my style.

The turquoise colour looks so good with the off-white cushions.

Doesn't it just make you want to sit outside with a paper and a drink and watch the world go by?

Well, maybe in a few months....

Have a great one!

    1. It was a great find - and the bright colour combo has me pining for summer mornings on the patio.
      Thanks for checking it out!
