Under the Sink

I went on a rampage today.

It wasn't intentional, it just seemed to evolve and before I knew it it was 3pm and I was still in my PJ's.

All I wanted to do was clean out the fridge.
Purge the expired items, wipe down the shelves, clean the door containers.

Which turned into cleaning and organizing the pantry.

Which led to organizing my Tupperware cupboard.

Then on to…   you get the idea.
The instant gratification from one job made me want to keep going.

I ended up under the kitchen sink, so I thought I'd share something that has been a lifesaver for us:
Peel and stick tiles to line the cupboard bottom.

We've had a few leaks in the past from the garberator and the dishwasher and even a poor install of our faucet, so the cupboard did have some water damage before we put the tiles down.

It was time to make sure that no further damage occurred.

These tiles are less than a dollar each and can be cut with an exacto knife - so it's a job that can be done in an hour.
The hard part is cutting the circles around the pipes.

If you get a leak, some water may leak through the spaces between the tiles, but hopefully you catch it before any real damage is done.

 Look at that!
All my cleaning supplies pared down to a few bottles!

I do still keep my cloths on a tupperware lid, just so that if there is water down there, the cloths don't sit in it, absorb it up, and then mold away.

One more project checked off!

Have a great one!
