Make up with your Makeup

How many people have not dropped their powder makeup and had this happen?

(I'm sure this is a far fewer number than those that have)

  Nooooooooooo!

I don't wear a lot of makeup to begin with, but for the few bits that I do wear, I hate to waste.

This little bad boy was practically new when he committed suicide off of my bathroom counter.

I was just about to throw it out when I reconsidered and checked my resource for home remedies…

Sure enough, the brilliant mind behind PetitElefant.com had already come up with a solution.

 I also had a couple of others that were nearing the end of their lives - and I use them in combination, so I decided to evolve the idea to suit my needs:

 Good as new!

I'm so thrilled!

Not only does this only take a few minutes to do, but it will save you a ton of money if you're a klutz like me.

One other point she touched on - sharpening eyeliners.

I have a new sharpener, but I can certainly relate to the frustration of sharpening an eyeliner only to have it break off and you have to do it again and again.

Her suggestion was to put your eyeliner in the freezer before sharpening so that the colour freezes.

Then sharpen.

I haven't tried this one as of yet - but she was SO right about the powder - that anything she writes is now golden to me!
