In Loving Memory...

This is going to be a new opener for me…

"I saw this thing on Facebook…"

I'm usually a Pinterest plagiarist, but this one was too good not to do.

The status showed how someone had dropped off a bucket of tennis balls to a beach somewhere with a sign on top saying it was in memory of their dog.

What a generous tribute to your best friend.

I've mentioned (probably a hundred times now) that we lost two dogs in 2013 - so this idea really called to me.

Unfortunately, there's no white sand around here…
So we did a winter tribute so we could take advantage of the white snow.

This was a silhouette I did of my babies a couple of years ago.
Dunnigan McDoogle was our Old English Sheepdog and Memphis-Belle was our Golden Retriever.

Isn't that funny - I'm just noticing now how the photocopy almost looks like it has a halo around it?

We have a few off-leash dog parks in town.
One in particular is close by and Lacey just LOVES to go to.

Seemed like a good place to drop off our tribute.
Our dogs would go through these frisbees in about 10 minutes.

The dogs at the park might as well, but at least they'll have fun while they last.
 I'd say it's a success?

Lacey wasn't quite fast enough to keep up - but she gave it her all!

Have a great one!
