Our Fairy, Ruby, is on board with the spirit as well.
Just this last week she decorated her front door for all to see!
Complete with LED Christmas trees,
An ingenious use of a paperclip as a wreath hanger.
Some candy canes for guests.
The slice marks in the wall are where she inaccurately cut my drywall to fit her door in. |
And even a little present under the tree! (I'm pretty sure it's for me).
I just stuck my finger in the photo so you could get an idea of the size of the little thing.
Last year we caught our Elf-On-The-Shelf hanging out with Ruby as evidenced by a tiny tea set that appeared to have cocoa in it.
As you can imagine - stuff like this drives the girls CRAZY with excitement! lol
Okay, I get a kick out of it as well.
I've got to be honest; I wish my front door looked like that with a gold knocker and kick plate and a crystal knob.
Who doesn't love great knockers and knobs?
(had to sneak one in).
(I'm sorry the photos aren't perfectly crisp - when you blow them up to fit the blog page it loses some of it's clarity.)
Have a great one!
So wish I had a little girl to do this with. I suppose I could have a super hero door or a garage door for cars.....but that doesn't seem to have the same magic feeling. Haha.
ReplyDeleteWho says Fairies are just for girls? There are fairies that fix cars, ride on hummingbirds and battle slugs (I'm using a few different movies as reference here) - perhaps you could call yours an elf door?
