I like being outside in the summer and fall, but prefer to stay warm in the winter and dry in the spring.
I couldn't even be talked into "Glamping".
Hot shower, electricity, and a soft bed appeal to me far too much to venture out and freeze my kabeebies off.
Having said that, I wouldn't want to miss out on a snowball fight!
Dilemma, dilemma…
Got it! Pom Poms!
What better way to hurl objects at your loved ones than with yarn pom poms that look like snowballs!
I surfed YouTube and found a few different methods, so I thought I'd try 4 of them out:
Three correct and one wrong way
- just so you could see what happens should one screw up.
Which I never do.
One ball of yarn made 8 snowballs - but it will depend on how thick you wrap.
The thicker (more) layers will make a more dense snowball, but you will get fewer of them per ball of yarn.
Another note; the shorter you cut the yarn (aka haircut), the more dense your pom will be.
When you're finished pelting each other with the snowballs, you can also make a snowman!
Who says I'm not a nature-girl!
Have a great one!
