More Grain Sack Striping

I can't help it - I loved the look of the dresser and I had another piece that needed a "bit" of work…



Another laminate piece that Chloe "helped" by working on.

She's 6, so a few more years and another hour or so of attention span and she's got potential.




The bookcase was $10 - so no matter how it turned out, I wasn't breaking the bank by letting her release her inner Artiste.

A bit of leftover paint and a grain sack stripe:



and you'd never know it was hot pink just a couple of days ago.




Better yet, it's taken my dresser from a one-off piece to part of a coordinated bedroom set!

I see a nightstand in my future…..
