Repurposed Greeting Cards

You may already do this, or this post may give you a "lightbulb" moment...  I'm going to hope it's the lightbulb and not me being redundant.

I wouldn't want to be needlessly wordy.

I hate being repetitive.

Excessively voicing the same concept becomes really annoying.

Time to move on?  Okay - sorry about being so gratuitous there.  (had to get one last one in. lol)

You know how the Holidays bring mass amounts of greeting cards?

Well, it seems such a waste to read, post for the month and then recycle them.

How about giving them one more go round before putting them in the blue box?

  Just cut out the image you like (even if it's the full card front), punch a hole and run a ribbon/bakers twine through.

On the back you can stamp, or hand-write, a message and your "to" and "from".
You don't have to stick to a standard shape either.

If you've ever been out shopping for tags, you know they come in a range of shapes and sizes, with and without embellishments;
Once I'm all done, I just package them up and put the container of tags with my gift wrap.
I do it with birthday cards as well.

Check out the Stampin' Up! ad to the right - Margaret can hook you up with the stamps, ribbon, twine and/or punch if you need!

Making the world a better place - one repurposing act at a time!

Have a great one!
