But good crazy.
Warm, furry, adorable crazy.
I'll show you why... or rather who:
Introducing 14 week old Lacey Bernice.
My family doesn't know I've given her the middle name Bernice. (Bernice because she's a Bernese - just plain old common sense right?)
I so wanted it to be her first name - with her nickname being Neecee - but I was out voted.
I think because Hubby called her "Bernie".
He did me in intentionally.
If you read this blog then you know we lost both our golden retriever, Memphis-Belle, and our old english sheepdog, Dunnigan MacDoogle, earlier this year.
They were both 10 years old and died within months of each other - so this house has been very empty.
I tried to compensate by introducing Milo.
Milo was still feeling sad, so I brought him a friend in Otis.
Cats are amazing - don't get me wrong - but they aren't dogs.
I whined, I begged, I cajoled.
The girls whined, they begged, they cajoled.
We went to a dog show, we visited shelters, we surfed rescue sites, we contacted breeders.
Finally, last weekend Hubby caved!
I gave everyone photos of my favourite three breeds:
Old English Sheepdog |
Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier |
Bernese Mountain Dog |
You'll never guess who won?
Who can blame them though, look at this;
Thank you Charlene and Mark!
Our hearts are on the mend thanks to your beautiful baby!
Back to sleepless nights and poop everywhere....
but oh so worth it!
Have a great one!
