Daddy of the Year

My girls are 5 and 7....
                       that's young!

We live on an easement with an open gate to a walkway in behind....
you never know who's walking by.

Mosquitos LOVE Madison.

For all of these reasons and a million more, I wasn't ready to let the girls pitch a tent in the backyard and have a sleep-out.

They might have been fine, but I wouldn't have slept a wink for worrying all night long.

In walks "Super-Daddy-Solver-of-All-Problems".

Okay, maybe just solver of this problem.

Believe it or not, this is my family room;

Hubby put up our giant tent right in the middle of the room and the girls had an indoor campout.

THEN, he slept on the couch next to the tent last night... just in case they woke up and were frightened.

Kind of a great guy eh?

I guess I'll keep him.

Mom's - if you want to contain the mess, however temporarily, I totally suggest putting up a tent in the house.

The girls have taken their blankets, pillows, toys and treats inside.

If I can just put up with this for a week, the rest of my house might actually have a chance to get, and stay, tidied!

I inserted the full moon so we could have the full-effect. lol

We love you Daddy!
When I finally met 'Mr. Right', I had no idea that his first name was 'Always'.

Have a great one!
