Why do I believe so whole-heartedly in Daily Glam?
Because I want to look good, but I have no idea how to do it.
I want to give the impression of being put-together, professional, accomplished and even a bit glamorous, but what pieces of clothing go with which feels like solving a rubik's cube to me.
What we have done is taken the guesswork out of it for you.
Every day for a MONTH - you will receive an e-mail that looks something like this:
with a write-up telling you how to wear it to best accentuate YOUR body shape.
For instance - I have a 'rectangular body shape', - which means I have no real, discernable waist.
For me to achieve the look above I need to guide people's eyes to other areas besides my missing waistline.
In this case - the bootcut jean would be good for me (versus a skinny jean) because it widens the look of the calf area, drawing the eye downwards. Wearing the blazer open instead of buttoned will make it look like there is a waist underneath and bringing in some bold jewelry at the neckline will again draw the eye upwards.
If you are large-chested, you would avoid blouses with front pockets. If you have broad shoulders, you'd look for a blouse style with a v-neck to bring the viewer's eye down the body.
It's a smoke and mirrors game where the Stylists have taken all of the guesswork out of for you.
Did you notice that most of the items in these two samples include items you already have in your closet? I think everyone has a pair of jeans and a white blouse. I'm going to hazard a guess and say that anyone that has ever been out in corporate America/Canada/wherever will have a black skirt tucked away somewhere. The cowl-neck sweater - do you have it in red, or blue, or brown, or black? The images are suggestions for combinations - but ideally, you work with what you already have in your closet.
It is fun, it' fashionable and it's educational - best of all - it's provided to you from PROFESSIONAL STYLISTS.
The Winter capsule is $25 if you subscribe before January 1st - after that, prices go up.
