100T2D Tree 2014

Chloë and I tackled putting up the Christmas tree last weekend.

Hubby punches out after he carries it up the stairs and helps unfold the branches.
Madison was more interested in her iPad than helping - so it was up to Chloë and I to come up with something festive.
Chloë decided we needed to green and white this year - not sure why, but she was quite adamant about it.

I think she wanted something to match her snowballs and penguins.
All I kept thinking was "please don't match Stitch!"

I received this ornament from my Sister-in-law last year (thank you so much!) and what I love most about it - besides the person that gave it to me - is that it's made from a plate.

I'm guessing a broken saucer from a fancy tea cup set - but isn't it just GENIUS adding the pearl and the wire to make it into an angel!
I love creativity like this - I might even consider smashing a few of my plates to try this! lol

A few words and a few bows to fill out the bare spots...

and we have the 100T2D Tree 2014!

Two tree skirts because we put our tree up on blocks so that 1. it looks taller and 2. we can fit the gifts underneath more easily.  One skirt covers the blocks, the other covers the floor.

Great job Chloë!

Have a great one!
