Daily Glam - Style and purchasing advice

As you (may or may not) know, I am a partner in a second blog called Daily Glam.

I blog for Professional Stylists Jen and Rita to give style advice to "everywoman".
We (they) show you how to use items you already have in your closet and style them in different and trendy ways.  It really is a lot of fun.
Granted I'm a slightly biased audience, but I'm also a fashionably-challenged woman - so having someone dress me each day is FANTASTIC.

We've had a few posts of late that have received TREMENDOUS response, so I thought I'd share them here as well.

The first series is called "Should I buy this?"
It's where we take a current trend and help you determine if it's worth adding to your wardrobe or not - i.e., is it versatile enough to be worn more than one way.

For instance - I was on the fence about buying a mustard cardigan;

Once they showed me a dozen different ways to incorporate it into my closet, it seemed a worthwhile purchase.

Yup - susceptible to my own marketing, I now own a mustard cardigan. lol

What about the plaid shirt trend?
Seems everywhere I go, every store I'm in - there is a barrage of plaid.
Not really my style so I questioned the versatility of this trend:

I can see I'm going to be needing one of those as well.

The second series that is doing really well is our "Get the look - for less" one.

It's where we take designer styles (and prices) and show you how you can achieve the same look, but within a reasonable budget.
Again, our Stylists try to incorporate pieces you may already have in your closet into the look.

For the above, you may already have a grey pant, red shirt and/or black heel in your closet.

For the above - I feel fairly confident that jeans and a white t-shirt are mandatory uniform in North America - it's written in the constitution isn't it?

Chances are you have black boots tucked away somewhere and more than likely a black purse.
The added benefit of this is that plus-size options and links are given as well.

Finally, the black heel, flat or even boot and a black turtleneck will have half of this outfit complete for you (the rest you can find through the affiliate links in the post)

Our next series - which is already looking SPECTACULAR is called "12 Days of Glitzmas" and will begin on the blog on December 1st.

For the first 12 days of December we will be giving away FREE style advice to get you through all of the Holiday functions you have coming up.

You will see 3 formal looks, 3 cocktail parties, 3 office party looks and finally 3 family function looks - all detailed for you and broken down to have you looking like a million bucks all the way through the Holidays.

Be sure to subscribe to the Daily Glam e-mail list so that you don't miss a day.

I did tell you it was free right?
and SO MUCH FUN!

Have a great one!
