I enjoy paper crafting.
I like making cards and little treat containers and gift tags, but until the weather turns cooler and I'm forced to stay inside more - I don't putter as much as I'd like.
I have to share one of my favourite sites with you: {Capture the Moment}.
Nichole was a graphic designer that took her passion and created the company Papertrey Ink, which sells clear stamps, paper etc.
What I like best about her, is that she has a great sense of balance and proportion, and her stamp sets are very elegant.
What I like even more is that each month - as she releases new sets - she and her design team showcase several projects that you can make with these sets.
The consummate plagiarist, this is right up my alley... and yesterday had me running low on birthday cards so it was a great excuse.
I had an hour and a half while the girls were at Brownies to restock my pile - so you know I needed CAS cards (clean and simple);
Two sheets of paper - white and sage.
One stamp set; Mehndi medallion
Three colours of ink (you can use stamp pads or markers).
Made half a dozen of these in 30 minutes.
Next up - a masculine birthday card:
Two colours cardstock - black and white (inside)
Designer paper - just leftovers from my stockpile
One stamp and black ink.
Made a half dozen in 30 minutes.
Packed up, put away and took photos before the girls arrived home!
Perhaps not the fanciest cards I've ever made, but handmade nonetheless, and I think that says in effort what Hallmark says in words.
Jockey P2P Look of the day.
Classic bootcut jean in vintage wash (sizes 2-24)
Paired convertible sleeve top in boysenberry (sizes XXS - XXXL)
Zig Zag scarf
On for the month of November - buy any one of these items and get a second item (from our sale list) for 50% off!
