I love buying shoes.
I love window shopping for shoes
but...
I hate breaking in shoes.
Too often, the cute little numbers I pick up sit in the closet for ages, until I'm ready to do battle with the blisters and discomfort of breaking them in.
Instead I just keep wearing my old beaters.
They don't look too bad in this shot, but the toes and heels are all scuffed up and you can definitely tell they are lounge-around shoes.
The current trend seems to be two-toned and cap-toed shoes:
I taped off the seam around the opening:
Stuffed the inside of the shoe with paper towel and then spray-painted in Chloë's metallic pink spray paint from yesterday.
Once that dried, I removed the painters tape and repositioned it so as to leave only the toe section exposed:
See the scuffs I needed to cover?
Spray paint a few light coats and voila!
Hubby says "They're interesting…." which means he isn't impressed - but I think they're kind of cute.
I had nothing to lose - so why the heck not?!
One-of-a-kind for one-of-a-kind me! lol
Have a great one!
