When did that happen?
I mean Wahoooooo!
Time to get in gear - it's Holiday time!
1st off - our Event-Advent Calendar.
I made 8 of these last year to give as gifts.
All it is is a giant sheet of thick felt (from the fabric store), with paper rectangles for pockets.
I sewed the paper to the felt and added die-cut numbers to the front. (I like to countdown to Christmas, so we start at 24)
I cut them with my Big Shot from self-adhesive sparkle foam, but you can also buy numbers at the dollar store that are already done.
I printed out the various events we like to do each year onto avery labels and then stuck them to die cut cards:
I did get the cards laminated afterwards because I wanted this calendar to last for several years.
Add a ribbon for decoration and then carefully plot out your month.
I put the more involved events in pockets that would land on the weekend (like family skate or go sledding) and then easier ones for during the week (like make a snowman or make a craft ornament).
Once I've got it organized, I hang it up and the girls can pull an event out of a pocket each morning!
They LOVE it!
What's on for tonight you ask?
Funny how that worked out eh?

Have a great one!
