Today I'll show you how I came up with a few goodies to continue our Monster High 6th Birthday party;
First off, I copied some images from the internet (I know, shame on me!) and played with them a bit in PicMonkey.com to get sizing and wording etc.
I had the skulls printed on a bit heavier cardstock; something with a bit of weight and a sheen to it.
The "Ghoul Aid" and the "Thank you" I had printed on sticky labels and then cut them to size.
Our frightful drinks:
are really just Kool-Aid Jammers with a sticker on the front - but the kids LOVED them.
The skulls I used as centrepieces.
I just used a few paint sticks and glued them between a couple of pieces of wood.
I used a bit of spray-paint to keep in the Monster High colour scheme and added ribbons to hide the seams.
Glue a skullette on each side and voila!
The "Thank you" labels I just cut and attached to the outgoing Goodie bags.
Finally, I e-mailed my best friend Brenda at Cakes on Wheels and asked if she could make me a cake with both "Webarella" and "Power Ghoul Toralei".
This is the image I gave her to work from;
You know she came through for me (and have I told you she DELIVERS!?)
With the flower balloons from yesterday and a pink chocolate fountain... I think the party was a hit!
Whether I want my baby to turn 6 or not (sniff, sniff).
Happy 6th Birthday my beautiful Angel!
Have a great one!
hi i love all your great ideas, but i want to know where or how did you get the stickers to put on the juice?
ReplyDeleteI took an image from online and then I just added "Ghoul Aid" to the bottom using Picmonkey.com. It's a great (and free) program.
DeleteOnce I had the image they way I liked it, I just printed it on label paper. Easy peasy!
