I just noticed how boring they are - but then again - I want you to find these if you are ever doing a Google search, so you're more likely to click on "Paper Plate Cookie Tray" than "Presenting baked goods in an economical and decorative container" - not that that held much wit either.
I digress…
One of our 100 Things 2 Do This Summer was to bake together and another was to deliver treats to friends…. so we tackled both today.
We baked these delicious double chocolate cookies I found on AllRecipes.com. When they're warm and gooey they taste like a brownie-cookie combo.
I haven't tried them cooled because they didn't last that long.
Then we needed to package them up for delivery.
Easiest way - either my origami box - or, to hold more than a few - a paper plate.
Here's how it's done:
This one may be unclear - these folds are perpendicular to the ones you just did;
Bring all the sides up and adhere into place.
A little ribbon and a note;
Then stuff with goodies!
You could line these with wax paper if you wanted, but the plates we used had a wax coating on - so nothing was going to stick to the sides or get gooey.
Chloe delivered them to her friends and only fell once - but she picked all the cookies up and put them back in the container.
Fortunately Sherri is a believer in the "5-second rule". lol
Have a great one!
