How to clean second storey windows

… without hiring it out.

My neighbour was telling me the other day that she was quoted $600 to have her windows cleaned inside and out.

That was the BEST estimate she got.
Granted she does have a great room with 3 levels of windows, but $600 seems insanely steep to me?

Truthfully - I would leave them dirty.

I don't have to worry about exorbitant costs like that because I have my trusty….

wait for it

you'll never guess

ENJO!

This is called the Combi, and the reason I'm showing it today is because it's on sale - but only until April 30th (tomorrow).
(Sorry for the short notice.)

What sold me on this bad boy is that there is a 'twister' you can attach to it so that you can use it straight;

 or - and this was the clincher for me -

you can bend it and lock it in place to wash the OUTSIDE of your windows!!

Case in point, here's me washing my second story bedroom window with just water;

Wash with the combi fibre side;

then squeegee off with the wiper blade.

I just used the window ENJOfil to do a quick wipe of the edges.

Completely and totally streak free.

With just water.

I kid you not.

Okay, so how about washing the window that is behind me?
You can attach the combi to the ENJO telescopic pole (the one that is also the mop handle) and voila!

Poor Lynn, she just stopped by to drop off my ENJO order and I put her to work so one of us could photograph.

Who else would take pictures for your blog AND clean your windows?

Lynn, you are so wonderful!

Once you've done your entire house, inside and out (including screens), you just put the combi fibre in the wash and hang to dry for next time.

Now if I told you that Lynn stopped by at 2:45 and I left the house at 2:55 to pick up the girls, would you believe me?
(and that included chatting, posing and taking photos.)

Windows cleaned inside and out (and screens - which I did afterwards) in a grand total of 15 minutes.

No streaks,
no chemicals,
no mess,
no sweat.

So, technically Lynn (of ENJO fame) advertises with me on the side of the blog

however, she did not request this post, nor did she pay or supply anything for me to write it - this is honestly and truly how I clean my windows.

If you are in North America and you want to take advantage of the sale, please contact Lynn directly.  There are extra shipping charges if you place orders outside of a Consultant.

Here's a video in case you want to see a gorgeous model (besides Lynn and I) demonstrating.

Oh, and I apologize about rescheduling the barbecue cleaning post - I will put it up soon so you can get that clean as well.

Have a great one!

  1. This article got me excited until I realized that I couldn't use it because I have screens on my windows. Your windows are screenless.
