Folding Tents

I was surfing for an Easter idea for the girls a couple of years ago and I came across Lindsay and Drew's tutorial on creating A-frame pup tents.

BRILLIANT!

What kid doesn't love a fort?

What Mom doesn't want something that can easily be tucked away before the in-laws arrive?

What Dad doesn't want to put in minimal time and effort and still reap giant rewards from his wife?

EVERYONE was happy!

Hubby whipped two up using 2x2's, pvc pipe and old sheets.
(See the tutorial for measurements and instructions)

We surprised the girls with them after their annual Easter egg hunt.

She's so cute I could just eat her!

These tents have the added bonus of working as walls for an even larger fort if you tip them onto their sides.

I think the sum total for both was around $15 and the girls played in them for hours and hours.

The only reason we don't still have them is that they actually wore out with overuse.

Hmmmm, we may need to repeat this gift again this Easter...
Thank you Lindsay and Drew!!

We never really grow up, we only learn how to act in public.
Have a great one!
