Kid's Art Book

I thought this was going to be a brilliant idea.

Inexpensive, super-easy and nice and neat - my three favourite things.

You've seen the schoolwork album I made for Maddie last year right?

Well, I thought that instead of taking photos of all of her work, I'd just compile my favourites (which was most of them) and have them bound at Staples.

This is what I received back:
Cute right?
No work for me beyond taking my pile to Staples.
I even had the pages arranged to that I could use binder tabs to separate out her poetry, social studies etc.

Small problem...
Even though I asked to have all the pages cut down to the same size before binding, the person at Staples didn't have the heart to cut up Maddie's art.

Instead she bound them into three separate books (by size).
Very kind, but more to store.

I still think this idea has potential though;
I may take in ChloĆ«'s work and just be more assertive about having it cut to fit one book.

Total cost (for all three books) <$20.

 If anyone ever tells you you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.
Have a great one!
